Hello! I am a middle-high school librarian in New York. These book entries serve as a reading diary and an easy reference for teachers and students. They are not necessarily new titles, but ones I see my students reading, support the curriculum, or others that merely catch my attention. Please check out the sidebar for more lists. Book summaries are given credit. Comments in the entries are my own. Eleanor Funk Schuster

A BIG THANK YOU TO MS. WEISS' SIXTH GRADE HUMANITIES CLASS!
Thank you so much for recommending some great books. Please share any more must reads and I will order them for the library. Ms. Sheehy, Mrs. Harrington and I are always happy to have you visit!
Happy Reading!
Mrs. Schuster
P.S. This is my dog, Tiki. He just likes to EAT books!

Are you sure it's not "devour" books?
Absolutely, "devour" is an excellent choice!
It's Ambreen from Ms. Weiss' sixth grade humanities! The book I recommended was The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane. It's a great book!
Thanks for posting Ambreen! That plot reminds me of The Two Sisters of Bamarre by Gail Carson Levine, which is also a great book. I can't believe I haven't read Edward Tulane yet, but I'll have to read it ASAP!
